Charles has always had an interest in business. Primarily comes from a commercial real estate background specifically in the 1031 exchange niche.

He was an exchange counselor for about 8 years. During his tenure he worked with hundreds of clients and made sure that meeting the clients’ needs was paramount. Anyone who knows anything about the 1031 exchange process knows it follows strict time frames so guiding clients is nothing new to Charles.

In addition, Charles also has experience in the healthcare, construction, ecommerce and fintech industries. The main reason that Charles came on board with the team was out of an interest to help preserve legacy businesses and help owners without a succession plan make sure that all their hard work will have paid off and been appreciated.

Charles understands firsthand what a generational small family business looks like, due to having grown up in one and understands the sacrifice and pride these owners have. With $15.6 trillion worth of small businesses coming up for sale in the next 10 years due to retirement of baby boomers, these owners are going to want to see their businesses treated with grace and respect.

After the pandemic the world saw how important recession proof and “essential” businesses are. These businesses have become a major focus for investors. Charles graduated from Santa Clara University with a BS in commerce with a concentration in management. He is also currently working towards his FMVA from the Corporate Finance Institute to better serve his clients on a quantitative basis.
